I finally got around posting my February trip to Bangkok and Chiang Mai. It wasn’t a very long trip. Just a 7 days trip To Bangkok and Chiang Mai. 3 days Bangkok and 4 days Chiang Mai - but minus the traveling and transport, the time spent isn’t nearly enough.

Yeah, pardon the poor photo quality. It doesn’t do the beautiful city justice. I just can’t imagine lugging around a chunky DSLR everywhere i go. Call me old school or just plain old fashion for still using an outdated digital camera. Haha…

It’s pretty silly to purchase a ticket for an afternoon or worst evening flights. Not if it’s absolutely necessary - like your great grandaunt dying and you need to be there in time for the inheritance or something. Haha just kidding. Surely you know what i mean… right?

But really, evening flights are tiring and a waste of time. By the time you arrive, it’s already time to hit the sack. Another day wasted. However, most of the free flights at Air Asia are just darn difficult to reserve. It’s always either the flight time or the dates that clashes. Free stuff doesn’t comes easy huh?

Take a Nap Hotel was like god’s sent after a tiring midnight flight. We arrived an hour past midnight and was greeted at once by our hotel pick-up who was polite and friendly.  The ride wasn’t bad too, a Toyota Inova. Mom was gushing all the way to the hotel at the sight of Bangkok cabs. She kept saying “Waaaa… Toyota as cab! Compare to us….tsk tsk!”. She can be so cute sometimes :).

I couldn’t have picked a better hotel. Really.

It was modern yet cozy, clean and comfortable. My parents loved it and so did the rest of us, especially loved our pink themed room with 4 beds. Yeah, it was then that i decided to have my own room divider like the one in the hotel room.

The parents took the bamboo themed room with twin beds. It’s on a floor above us. It’s just as comfy but a little smaller.

I don’t have the photo of it because i always forgot to bring my camera along when we crashed into the parents room.
