Singles on a Cruise

Random Thoughts, Reviews February 25th, 2010

Who says singles are boring couch potatoes that stays at home on Saturday nights watching movie reruns?

Who says being single means being unattractive and doesn’t know how to have fun?
That conception is so utterly wrong.

There are many fun and exciting activities that singles have the luxury to do but couples doesn’t.
Singles can go travelling without a long and tedious planning or just catch a plane to an exotic destination of his/hr whim, singles have the freedom to be a slob at home, and singles can party the night away without worrying about going home to a fuming spouse.

Most of all singles can flirt all they want.

Many single people I know enjoy booking a cruise and have great fun out in the sea. You’ll be surprised how many people on a cruise are single and available. It’s definitely a place for people all over to hook up.
Imagine meeting a hunky, dark haired guy on a cruise and enjoying a martini on deck while watching the sunset.

Or better, maybe there’ll be someone with a sense of humor on board the cruise that’ll sparkle a romance? Who knows, maybe you’ll meet your soul mate there.

Only problem is, you might not want to give up the ‘singles’ title!

Best Cities to Live In

Accomodation, Reviews, Uncategorized January 19th, 2010

How do you rate a city as being the best to live in? Well, there are many factors determining this aspect which if you agree with me, the factors varies accordingly.

In a more prosperous time where the economy blooms, the thriving factor in picking a city to move in would be for the luxurious comfort or maybe for its entertainment value. But considering as we are in the midst of a financial crisis, the determining factors could not be so far from that.

Now we are more concerned about not burning a hole in our pocket. Before we move into a property, we consider the cost of living in a city, percentage of population and percentage of workforce of a city and particularly the city concerned. People are thrift-conscious while considering properties before settling down by looking for affordable communities that have strong economies and comfort.

In doing so, people are keener to choose a suitable property management agent which will provide extensive information on the city of choice. According to Mesa Property Management among the top few popular cities in the States to live in are Anaheim, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. No doubt each city has its alluring factors as it all depends on individual preferences.

You Gotta See This

Reviews, Uncategorized November 6th, 2009

For travel junkies it’s very important to have good eyesight. It’s a hassle to pack contact lenses and solutions and most of the time you’ll forget to do so. Even worst is wearing glasses or lenses for hikes or other extreme activities. Imagine knocking off the glasses or missing a lens while you’re hanging on the cliff. It’ll be a disaster!

In such cases, iLasik a good alternative. With the laser vision correction, you don’t have to worry about blurry eyesight during travel anymore. Abbott Medical Optics Inc. (AMO) (a global leader in laser vision correction) is now having a Video Contest called “You Gotta See This” with the goal of sharing people’s experiences and improvements in life after iLasik. Besides, the winner gets a chance to win $5,000!

To win, all you have to do is create and submit a video showing the impact of improved vision to www.GottaSeeThisNow.com. The video should be submitted according to categories. There are 3 categories for selection which are “My contacts are getting in the way of my good time”, “My favorite sport or activity would be so much cooler with better vision” and “You should see life after the iLASIK® Procedure”. Then ask everyone you know to vote for it. The more votes the better chance of winning.

The iLASIK Video Contest have been running for quite sometime now and many have already submitted their video. Some are very creative too like music videos and videos on boxing and swimming. Nonetheless, the contest is still open for entries so hurry!

Low Fares

Airlines, Reviews, Travel Agency June 9th, 2009

We all love a bargain don’t we? Yes, we do, especially when it comes to traveling. Being a travel bug, i always and proudly thought of myself more of a budget traveler, spending only when it’s absolutely necessary. With that, saving up hopefully for the next destination much sooner than later. Plus it’s only common sense. Would opt for a more expensive airline tickets or a more affordable one given that the comfort level of the cheaper one is actually tolerable? I’ll pick the cheaper ones. No doubts about it.

That is the reason that i check out Low Fares with much interest and anticipation. They offer cheap airline tickets, affordable hotel stays and bargain vacation packages. That’s like heaven for me!

The website is very user friendly so finding out about flights availability and fares is actually a breeze. As i am planning a family trip to China, i thought why don’t i give it a try. All i needed to do is enter the city and airport of departure and also arrival, select the sites that i want to compare and voila! I have the best flight rates i could get my hands on.

Sure beats going through the many websites for comparison to get cheap flights.
