The November 2008 issue of National Geographic published a story about the vanishing forests of Borneo (Borneo’s Moments of Truth) which at the same time truly sad and inspiring. I recall that the boyfriend had many times gushed on the beauty of the Borneo island and had always wished to one day have a visit. Don’t get me wrong Borneo is still a amazingly beautiful place but it’s far from what it used to and fast vanishing too. With Christmas approaching 2 months away, many holiday goers are already planning for a long holiday getaway. Sungai Klah Hot Spring Park was opened in December 2003 and is reputed to be one of the best managed hot spring park in Malaysia. I am pretty excited about my trip to Bangkok and CHiang Mai next February… Well not as much as Bangkok as Chiang Mai actually. I got these 2 booklet thingy from MATTA Fair (Malaysian Travel Fair) i attended last week. Tenho estes 2 caderneta coisa Feira de MATTA (malaio Travel Fair) i compareceram na semana passada. One is a Bangkok Tourist Map, the other is a booklet about CHiang Mai’s trourist attraction. Um deles é um Banguecoque Mapa Turístico, o outro é um livreto sobre Chiang Mai trourist da atração. It’s FOC so i could start planning my 8D7N trip already. It's FOC então eu poderia começar a planear a minha viagem já 8D7N.

Today i found out about a City named Cork. Hoje encontrei-se sobre um chamado Cork City. What a funny name LOL. O que um nome engraçado LOL. In fact Cork is the 2nd largest city in Republic of Ireland. Cork, na realidade, é a 2 ª maior cidade da República da Irlanda. The city centre is located on an island in the River Lee that positively hums with life, catering for every taste. O centro está localizado em uma ilha no Rio Lee que hums positivamente com a vida, a restauração para todos os gostos.

Besides the modern development and infrastructure, Cork City is a place with wonderful buildings from the past such as the Red Abbey, the church tower of Shandon and the City Hall itself among others. Cork also is the home to Ireland’s longest building - the Victorian mental hospital which is now converted to residential used. Cork is also known as “The Rebel County” or “The Rebel Cork” because of its reputation for rebelliousness going back to its support for English Pretender Perkin Warbeck in 1491.
